Professional Grade Pit er Pat/Icy Demons

The members of Chicago’s Pit er Pat merge multiple genres — incorporating dub, dance, pop, punk, soul, psychedelic, electronic and folk to create a unique and distinct pattern that is all their own. Pit er Pat has released a string of records on Thrill Jockey.

Icy Demons perform highly sophisticated pop songs with beautifully pure falsetto vocals and exquisite orchestrations featuring the rich warm tones of a bowed upright bass, along with chord organs and woodwinds. Featuring musicians from Chicago, Philadelphia (Man Man’s Christopher Powell) and Athens, Icy Demons released its debut album on the Elephant 6-associated Cloud Recordings.
